like with all "wars" it does get boring anf time comsuming after a while and the sun calls to a lot of ppl and holidays ....i dont mind a good wee war with good nature on both sides and for myself i knew this war would be hard and almost impossible to win but as long as i can hold my head up and say i tried thats ok for me and yes Squishy i understand what ur saying war can teach a lot of game play but then every era brings new tactics into play and only thing i didnt like was fflop who have been sworn emenies of SR and have for ages joining with SR .....that i cant get my head around lol

just a quick survey, is any other alliance farming rb rl glad nwo besides sr fflop demk nsg me? because their only two bigs left won't be approving anyone for any infraction.

123 vs 191.. seemed to be lopsided from the start. GLD will continue to fight the good fight. Seems SR and co know we are the real threat seeing as Dank has been main target for quite awhile

wars have been and always will be framed as whatever suits the side speaking. if you lead in raid damage you say raids are what wins if your laying down more sab damage you based winning off sabs. and on the flipside if you feel as if your not making any progress you find a a reason why your not losing, your too small, you are on vacation. not saying any of the reason for winning or losing is wrong im just saying again most of the outlooks are framed by what works best for those looking.

with that being said it does feel like there is even less activity from the other side now, and while the war is still a focus its more of a background thing in a sense that there is more time to do other things like recruit and plan for next era.

the war has been fun and its been great for fflop, brought us closer together with some of the newer members got people excited in playing and its looking like we are going to leave this war with more people then when it started.

i will be the first to admit i am not the best player at this game and for me personally like all wars it has given me an opportunity to learn. i got to learn not just from the brilliant minds on our side but also from the otherside as well. so for me this war has been great.


so if you want to sit around and just complain about the numbers game thats fine i get that but there is alot more to look at here then just member counts because after all its not the size of the dog in the fight its the size of the fight int he dog, so if you got a size issue perhaps you really should be looking within.

It seems you are missing the point I was trying to make. BP said that it feels a bit lopsided, so I pointed out the numbers. Wars are about 50-75% effort and 50-25% numbers -- your alliance can put in the most effort and still lose because they dont have the numbers to effectively bring a target down. Its simple math, if you can get 50% of people to mass one target, who is going to have more damage done to them? There is a reason Dank has been the main target and its not because he is the biggest account, could it be that he puts in more effort? Yes.

tl;dr -- I am not sitting and complaining about numbers. We had a great war going against DEMK and it was easier for either side to manage because it was very close in numbers / account size. GLD will always fight with passion, even if its an uphill battle.

for example, i just did thebigcheese .. 8995 of his mercs. plus damage to da. if 150 people did that, 1.3m plus mercs/soldiers. BOOM gone. da damaged so bad it would be scrap and he would turn into a koc farm.

Glads being bullies is a common misconception. People consistently sab our members for bs low hits, we havent declared a war since at least the first Era. Sometimes we do get rouges in our chain like every other alliance does but for the most part our members keep to ourselves.

When it comes to play style we are BY FAR the least greedy alliance in the game. We've given you, TGF, Flop, and a slew of others our growth and have asked for almost nothing in retun.

Yes we troll, and yes we do sab targets/players when they make blatantly racist comments but we never actively seek to war chains that our half our size.

We in LaCN tried to avoid war this era but GLADS have pushed us over the edge and now we are declaring WAR on GLADS for their oppressive behavior in KOC. We have tried to get along with all but Dank sabbing our members unprovoked and sending massers against TGF and others for no reason but he didn't like the stats of a player is reprehensible. It is therefore that the leaders of LaCN declare war on GLADS.
